Joss Whedon, the director of The Avengers and the 2015 sequel, will be developing this spin-off TV series about S.H.I.E.L.D., the espionage agency led by Nick Fury.
As we’ve seen from Smallville and Arrow, TV series based on heroes are a thing so its cool to see Marvel/ABC capitalize.
While there have been quite a few teasers and sneak peeks over the past months, here’s the first full official trailer for Showtime’s new series Ray Donovan, which stars Liev Schreiber.
The show premieres in June along with the new season of Dexter.

From the ’60s up to now, Spidey has basically lived on TV. This video is about a year old now but it shows the intro to every Spidey show up to 2012 They even included the infamous Japanese series, which arguably had the catchiest intro out of all of them.
Took awhile, but Starz finally revealed the date for the season 2 premiere of Magic City. The 1950s crime-drama based in Miami will return on June 14th at 9pm EST.

This past Sunday was the season finale of several Showtime shows. No fret though, as The Borgias are back next weekend to carry the torch.
This bts shows the introduction of new character Rufio, an assassin. Can’t wait to see the “original crime family” back at it on April 14th.
I’m looking forward to the new show Ray Donovan starring Liev Schreiber and Jon Voight, which premieres in June on Showtime. Sadly we’ve been stuck with the same preview footage for a minute now, so nothing new to raise anticipation. Showtime does however offer this bts look at the photoshoot for the show, which will end up being used in ads and promos.
One of the best new shows of 2012 was Magic City, the vintage ’50s Miami crime drama that Starz loved so much they renewed a new season before the first season even premiered.
With this S2 trailer we get a glimpse of what to expect this year, including Rick Ross playing a cameo. I guess there was more to him posting pics on Instagram months ago of him hanging out with the show’s actors.
So far the premiere date isn’t known but this sneak peek looks like it’ll be worth the wait.
2013 will be another big year for TV… at least, that’s what the networks are banking on. More and more people are cutting costs by ditching cable/satellite subscriptions and watching shows online or via services like Netflix and Hulu. The internet has become the biggest threat out there so the networks can’t afford to pull any punches these days.
With this start of the year we’ll be seeing tons to watch, including several mid-season premieres such as last night’s return of American Horror Story: Asylum, the upcoming season premieres of HBO’s Girls and Enlightened, Showtime’s Californication, House Of Lies and Shameless, Starz’s Spartacus returns for its final season, Anger Management, Archer, Dallas, the series premieres of new FX show The Americans, and much more.
