Aftershock follows a group of people as they try to survive in Chile after a 9.5 earthquake hits. It looks like another one of those “surviving the end of the world” type of flicks, which can be enjoyable with the right elements.
The movie hits theaters this Friday, May 10th.
So the “2013 Blockbuster Movie Season” is officially underway. Next up on May 17th will be the sequel to 2009’s Star Trek, and Paramount released this new trailer to get some hype going. Get your 3D glasses out for this one.
Marvel UK unveiled the official trailer to the upcoming Thor sequel, The Dark World. The film hits theaters on November 8th.
The second trailer shows the epicness we wanted to see in the first. August 16th can’t get here fast enough.
The new TV spots didn’t give me much insight into the film. All I could tell was that it starred Mark Wahlberg, Dwayne Johnson, and Anthony Mackie, was directed by Michael Bay, and took place in Miami. Now I know just a lil’ bit more before it hits theaters on April 26th. Looks interesting.

I stayed off the internet (mostly) yesterday to avoid the April Fool’s corniness, but apparently this trailer was initially released as a prank (a trailer for Pineapple Express 2). However, the movie is truly legit sans the staged sequel. It’s a new comedy film starring Seth Rogen, Jonah Hill, Jay Baruchel, James Franco, Danny McBride, Michael Cera, Craig Robinson and others. Oh, and a cameo by Rihanna.

The first official trailer to a new movie starring Denzel Washington and Mark Wahlberg releasing this Summer (August 2nd). Should be fun.
By saying “coming soon” they actually mean August 16th. Which isn’t as soon as we would like.
All good things must come to an end. Not really sure if any other Memorial Day movie release will be able compete, but we’ll see on May 24th.
