Video: X-Men: Days of Future Past (Trailer #3)

Summer movie season is nearly upon us.  We’re now a month away from most likely the greatest X-Men film ever.  It seems like just yesterday when the news became official about the film, but now one of the more memorable story arcs from the comics will be coming to life.  We also get a better look at the Sentinels, who have been long overdue for showing up in an X-Men film.

May 23rd.  Mark it down.

Video: 22 Jump Street - Final Trailer (Red Band)

If you haven’t seen 21 Jump Street yet, you should know you’re committing a huge crime.  The sad part is having to wait until June 23rd to see the followup in theaters.

Check out that delicious Red Band vulgarity in the meantime.

Video: Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (2014) Trailer

Leaked pics of the action figures outted the designs recently, but this trailer solidifies everything.  Some people will hate and some people will love the new looks.  What do you think?

You’ll have until August to know for sure.

Video: X-Men: Days Of Future Past Trailer

As far as trailers go, this isn’t quite as exciting as one would hope.  It does leave open the possibility of one of the better X-Men stories not getting the treatment it deserves from a big screen adaptation.  But it’s way too early for that kind of judgement.  It’s an X-Men movie and Hugh Jackman is back as Wolverine for the millionth time, so why not.

This should help start next Summer right when it hits theaters on May 23rd.

Video: Captain America: The Winter Soldier UK Trailer

When this trailer first popped up days ago, I didn’t think it would become as big of a deal as it has been.  That was me being stupid and forgetting that all the characters associated with The Avengers are on FIRE since the movie dropped last Summer.

It’s easy to see why the trailer has 17 million views and counting: it’s pretty damn good.

Of course before we get to see this in 2014, there’s that little Thor sequel coming in a few weeks too.  Plenty of good times ahead.

Video: Justice League: War Trailer

The next in a long line of outstanding animated films from DC Comics/Warner Bros., War should be a good watch whenever it drops in 2014.  Kinda weird seeing Superman and Wonder Woman in not-so-traditional costumes though, and Shazam basically replaces Aquaman in this film.

Video: Anchorman 2: The Legend Continues Trailer #2

Promos for the movie have amped up now that the holidays are approaching.  Hopefully it doesn’t disappoint like some of the other 2013 releases thus far.

Transformers: Age of Extinction On Set In Chicago

Summer came and went, and now we look forward to the films currently in production.  One of which is the fourth Transformers film starring Mark Wahlberg

Videos have recently surfaced of the on-set shooting of the film in Chicago.  One of them is below:

Should/could be interesting when it drops in Summer 2014.  After all, Transformers 3 didn’t do much except become the 6th highest grossing film ever.  No pressure.

Warner Bros. Announced Superman & Batman Film

Today at Comic-Con, Warner Bros. blew minds by announcing Superman & Batman, a crossover film of DC’s top two iconic heroes.  We’re used to seeing them together in various animated movies (above), but this is the ‘real’ thing.

Not much details currently, but it will be dropping in 2015 and will be directed by Zack Snyder (Man Of Steel).  Plans for a Flash film and then a Justice League film are also underway.

"FX Has the Movies"…. Seriously

While many will probably have seen them by then, FX is stacking up their movie premiere lineup for 2015 to feature many of this year’s releases.  Check it out:

According to The Hollywood Reporter, FX acquired Man of Steel, Star Trek Into Darkness, The Purge, This Is the End, Fast & Furious 6, The Internship and Epic earlier this week. The additions – impressive in their own right – now join a stacked FX roster of 17 hit 2013 feature films, including Iron Man 3, Oblivion, Evil Dead and Identity Thief. The films will be officially entered into FX’s library sometime in 2015 and will premiere on the channel after that.

So if theaters, premium channels, DVD/Blu-ray and OnDemand isn’t your thing, FX has your back in 2015.  But those cheesy commercials gotta stop, guys.
