NIKE SB HI STATUE OF LIBERTY- One of the newest and most innovative releases from the SB camp over at Nike are the Statue of Liberty Dunk High’s. These kicks will actually shed a layer of paint to reveal an oily oxidized darker color below mimicking the Statue of Liberty. Cool and all but I’m not sure how I feel about a green layer of paint all over my Expensive Selvedge. Looks nice though!  High-res

Takashi Murakami Announces 2 upcoming Floats in NYC
Takashi Murakami is coming back to show in New York City, but this time, he’s in this year’s Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade. His contributions will be two specially designed floats of his studio mascots “Kaikai” and “Kiki”. With massive heads measuring 16 feet wide, it’ll be a pretty unforgettable impression these two Superflat characters will make when their larger than life helium filled bodies float down the streets of the Big Apple.

According to the Associated Press, Jay-Z has teamed up with the New York Yankees to create co-branded clothing.  The apparel, which will include shirts and caps and will be sold exclusively at Yankee Stadium starting next week, will feature logos from both the Yanks and Jay.
I guess somebody was listening when he said “I made the Yankee hat more famous than a Yankee can.”
