Throwback: Kid Cudi “Day N Nite”

It might not seem like much of a throwback, but it is.  A lot of things have changed in the world since the song dropped back in early 2008: touchscreen smartphones were just starting to go mainstream, HD videos and HDTV programming choices were slim, Yung Berg was relevant, and Obama wasn’t in office yet.

Kid Cudi revealed yesterday that his upcoming album Indicud will be a double-CD:

In the meantime, be sure to peep that WZRD album with Dot Da Genius.

  • WZRD (Kid Cudi x Dot Da Genius) “Brake” - Its dat new Cudi ya’ll.  After recently releasing videos for songs off of his year old album, Scott finally is starting to gear up for the release of his new album, ‘WZRD.’  The album climbs into a different sound as he teams up the artist with his long time collaborator, Dot Da Genius, responsible for several Cudi songs including his hit “Day N Nite.”  He also recently said on Twitter that the album will not contain any profanity or the word “nigga.”  Look for the album in January 2012, as Cudi plans to release it on his birthday.

Video: Kid Cudi “Maniac” (feat Cage) - Killing spree in full effect, so its NSFW for those with weak hearts.  Cudi dropped this on Halloween as yet another video/short film off of his MoTM II album.  Directed by Shia LaBeouf, who also previously did Cudi’s video for “Marijuana.”
