Nintendo Wii U Release Date - Nintendo’s new HD successor to the Wii is officially on the way. The Wii U has been given the green light for a November 2012 release and should be on shelves 1-2 weeks before Black Friday. With it, Nintendo will also relaunch their online service for the console by renaming it the Nintendo Network, with hopes of getting it up to speed with the online service of rivals Microsoft and Sony.
