R.I.P. Joe Paterno - The legendary former head coach of Penn State is now sadly on 2012’s (rapidly growing) death list. Joe passed away of complications with lung cancer after being in serious condition earlier today. He was 85.
Update: After several sites broke the story it was revealed that Joe is in fact still alive, albeit fighting his cancer in a hospital. Still bad news, but thankfully not as worst as previously thought.
Update 2: Joe officially passed away early Sunday morning.
