High-res
Microsoft released a major update for the Xbox 360 today, and with it comes features shown at E3, such as support for Kinect (dropping in a few days), updated/revamped Zune and Netflix services, updated Avatar marketplace, a brand new dashboard to match the new website, and my personal fave, ESPN support (seen above).
So what can you do with this new ESPN service? You can stream LIVE sporting events (in HD), watch Sportscenter clips, watch highlights from recent games, replay entire 4+ hour long games (such as the college games from the weekend), see schedules of upcoming games, and more. I started it up earlier and saw the breaking news about Randy Moss getting cut and I saw a soccer game happening live, so this is all content that’s updated frequently. Pretty damn cool.
Your Xbox is a total entertainment center. Sports, movies, music, Twitter/Facebook… everything.
